Hello! I’m Federico
I was a natural problem-solver who loved understanding how things worked. But my curious mind kept pulling me toward something else, the psychology behind how software feels to use. The turning point came when I watched actual users interact with something I'd built. I realized I cared more about their experience than the code behind it.
Before I became a designer, I spent 8 years as a software developer
Design entered my scene in an unexpected way.
When I moved to Denmark, I started volunteering as a concert photographer. At Spillestedet Stengade, I noticed the booker drowning in promotional work. I created templates he could easily modify himself: event headers, social content, monthly calendars. His workload dropped dramatically. The venue's engagement soared. I'd found my thing.
This led to three years at Music Manager, working on everything from album artworks to a dashboard prototype called X-Ray that helped music clients track their streaming revenue. I loved the variety: every project was a new puzzle.
Most technology is built by engineers who assume users think like they do. The result? Products that frustrate more than they help.
UX design flips that equation. My engineering background taught me to solve complex problems systematically. My design experience taught me that even the smallest detail, a clearer button, a more intuitive flow, can transform frustration into delight.
Why User experience design?
Moving forward, I want to create digital experiences that solve real problems for real people.
Where can you find me when I’m not working?
